Regardless of your interests or goals, you are always welcome with us. As an economist at Riksbyggen, you will work in a consulting role with many customer contacts. You will collaborate closely with our technical managers and other delivery units to jointly provide long-term quality management services that create added value for our customers.

Make a Difference with Us

You will be the economist for several of our clients, primarily consisting of housing cooperatives but also commercial property owners and municipalities. You will have frequent contact with, among others, the chairpersons and boards of housing cooperatives.

Your work will also include identifying new needs and developing long-term partnerships with clients. For our clients, you will be responsible for ongoing bookkeeping, preparing budgets and financial statements, economic follow-up of operations, loan procurement, financial planning, and presenting budgets and forecasts to the boards.

You will also serve as the contact person for boards, housing cooperative members, suppliers, authorities, and others regarding financial issues. As an employee at Riksbyggen, you are also expected to be a member of one or more housing cooperatives; if you have board responsibilities, a fee for this responsibility will be provided.

Contribute with Your Expertise and Engagement

We are looking for someone who is interested in customer contacts and has the ability to see and meet customer needs while acting professionally. You have the ability to create an open and trusting dialogue and foster good collaboration both internally and externally. Furthermore, it is important that you can take a broader perspective and work towards long-term sustainable strategies for the client's financial management. You need to be structured and self-driven.

You have a degree in economics from a university or equivalent. We expect that you have worked with various aspects of finance and have at least three years of experience in accounting and financial statements. Experience from working at an accounting firm with client responsibilities is an advantage.

The position is a parental leave cover until December 2027. A driver's license and access to a car are required. Some evening meetings are included in the role.

The position is based in Malmö, but work in other locations within the market area may occur.
